Read moreThe last couple of years have seen an increase in the number of amusement parks in Croatia. Although our amusement parks are visited by large numbers of people, many are still unaware of the exact type of entertainment offered by these parks. That’s why we’ve selected five of them which we believe will surely delight you and your family.
The largest water park in Croatia is located near Poreč. This park offers a variety of attractions for the whole family, from water slides and pools, fun amenities for children, to relax zones. Aquacolors holds the prestigious SCP Distributors LLC award for best European project of this type for the year 2019, which is a true testament to the quality of content and services offered by the park. The park is open from May until end of September and it offers individual as well as group tickets.
First Croatian trampoline park was opened at two locations in Zagreb. The first one is at Zagreb Fair and the second, called Amazinga West, is located at Jankomir, within the Family Mall shopping centre. Apart from trampolines, Amazinga is equipped with a VR park, spaces for children and spaceship laser tag. After a hard day of jumping up and down, the Amazinga café and restaurant is a great place to get some refreshments. Apart from hourly and daily tickets, Amazinga offers yearly membership as well.
Only a five-minute drive away from Poreč, Dinopark Funtana opened in 2012. With its 80 dinosaur exhibits, amusement park, restaurants, children’s zoo and daily shows, this park offers entertainment for the whole family. The prices of tickets are €20 – 25, with discounts on family tickets. Dinopark also offers free entry for all children up to 14 years of age during their entire birthday month. The park is usually open from late April to early October. If your family stays at one of our villas in Istria, this park is the ideal choice for a fun day out.
The first and only theme amusement park is located at Biograd na Moru, only 30 km away from the Zadar Airport. With its three themed areas (Space, Pirate City and Wild West), Fun Park Mirnovec is a true gem among Croatian amusement parks. It is open from late May to late October.
Finally, we come back to Istria, near Novigrad, to the last amusement park we’ve singled out for you. Aquapark Istralandia is probably one of Croatia’s most famous amusement parks. Istralandia offers various water slides for children and the whole family, but also for adrenaline junkies. Crowned the European second-best water park, Istralandia is open from June to September. Apart from water slides, it also offers children’s playrooms and souvenir shops.
